Ginger and Date Bites with Chocolate

These versatile and tasty superfood bites make for a perfect snack on the go. Pop a few in your mouth and you'll be fueled up for whatever adventure lies ahead. You can even switch up the spices and the flavor of granola you use each time to vary this recipe so it never gets old!



  • 1 1/2 cup pitted medjool dates
  • 1 1/4 cup Forij Granola
  • 1 1/2 tbsp molasses
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/8 tsp clove
  • 1/4 cup melted dark chocolate



1. Add dates to a high speed blender or food processor, pulse on high until they are broken into bits.
2. Add remaining ingredients and blend on high until a big ball of dough forms.
3. Form dough into 14 even sized balls and refrigerate for 5 minutes.
4. While the bites are in the fridge melt chocolate in a saucepan or in the microwave. Remove bites from fridge and drizzle with chocolate and sprinkle with more granola.
5. Store in the fridge for up to a week.
