Healthy Twix Knock Off
Halloween may be behind us, but that doesn't mean the time for candy is over! Especially when it's candy made with natural sweetener, healthier ingredients, and superfood granola. This Twix knock off is a delicious fall dessert. It has chocolate, caramel, and the perfect crunch. Adaptogens like lion's mane mushrooms in the Forij granola bring brain nutrients you won't find in many candies. This gluten-free dessert can be made vegan too, by using dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. Who doesn't love an upgraded version of a childhood favorite?
Ingredients
Bottom Layer (Crust)
- ¾ bag of Forij Vanilla Almond granola (8oz)
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
Caramel Layer
- ½ cup almond butter (sub any nut butter)
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
Chocolate Layer
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
Toppings
- Forij Vanilla Almond granola
- Pinch of sea salt
